Rates of Service:

Chef Rates $100 per hour for service at the event
Additional servers and bartenders $45 per hour
The cost of food and preparation per event
How We Work:
​
We require a final count 7 days prior to the event. Should the count increase more than
10% of the final count you will be charged a per head price for every additional guest.
Chef for Hire, LLC also requires a 50% deposit due 30 days prior to the event if
applicable time allows. The balance of the bill is due on the date of the party. Should
there be a cancellation of the event date, Chef for Hire will retain a non-refundable
deposit of $500.00 and will return the remainder of the deposit to the client. If the client
chooses to pick a new date, Chef for Hire will put the remainder of the deposit towards
the new date. Should the event take more time than quoted, there will be an additional
hourly charge for every extra hour spent by the staff.

Chef for Hire, LLC does not include gratuity in the quote for the party. We believe that
great service should be the standard! We suggest if you are happy with the service, that
you include 20% of the total bill. A 7.35% state sales tax will be mounted to each bill.
We accept Venmo, checks and cash. All parties over 6 guests will require additional staffing and
will be suggested in the quote. We provide one server per 15 guests depending on the
services needed by the client.

All events in which the food is to be dropped off, will be charged a $40 delivery fee, If
there is a need to pick up equipment after the event there is a $40 pick- up fee. All parties
over 50 miles from Middletown will be charged $50 mileage fee.

Chef for Hire, LLC is not licensed to provide alcohol, but we will make any suggestions
on quantity or wine choices you may want us to match with the food. our service staff is TIPS certified. We can also take
care of the rental of linens, glassware, dishware, and flatware for an additional charge. We
provide most cooking utensils and serving platters, should you like us to use your serving
items, please let us know prior to the event.

Please review the project estimate (proposal) carefully. You may indicate
your acceptance via a reply email, which constitutes your agreement to conduct this
transaction by electronic means and your "electronic signature" according to the
Connecticut Uniform Electronic Transactions Act, Sections 1-266 to 1-286 of the
Connecticut General Statutes.
